Ingredients
List: 1 pound beef
Ѕ
cup oil
2
medium onions, chopped
2
tablespoons garlic paste black pepper
salt
3–4 medium green chillies, cut in halves
2
teaspoons Garam Masala
Ѕ
tablespoon paprika
1
tablespoon Turmeric powder
1
tablespoon ground ginger powder
2
teaspoons zeera/cumin powder
1
large potato, cut in medium cubes How to Cook:
1.
Heat the oil in a non-stick cooking pot.
2.
When bubbles begins to appear, put in the
onions and fry for five to eight minutes over medium heat until it turns light
brown.
3.
Add garlic paste and sautй for a few minutes.
4.
Add the ginger, Turmeric, cumin, and paprika powder to the
mixture and stir for a few minutes.
5.
Add the Garam Masala and halved green
chillies, and then stir fry for about five minutes. If it sticks to the pot,
add few tablespoons of water to increase the consistency of thick paste.
6.
Mix the marinated beef from the brown onions,
pepper, and salt it was marinated from. Mix the spices well with the beef. Then
add the beef to the pot.
7.
Cover and let it cook for 15–20 minutes over medium heat.
8.
Check the meat from time to time and stir in between 30 minutes,
and then turn the meat over.
9.
After frying the beef for 15–20 minutes, add up to 3 cups of
water. Mix, then turn the heat to high and cover.
10.
Cook for 20–30 minutes. Add in the potatoes. Cover and let it
cook for ten minutes until the meat becomes tender.
11.
This is best served with bread/flat bread and rice.
